Jeep tour to Charyn Canyon

Charyn Canyon is called the younger brother of the Grand Canyon in the USA. This amazing creation of nature is located on the territory of the Charyn National Park in the valley of the Charyn River, about 200 km from Almaty

Departure from Almaty early in the morning, at 7:30. Why so early? Maximum coverage of canyons and viewing platforms is required. A regular bus tour involves visiting only the Valley of Castles, but our jeep tour includes at least three more amazing places in the canyons.

Departure

07:30 Departure to the Charyn Canyon
We drive to the canyon for about 4 hours

Arrival

We leave our cars in the parking lot at the descent into the Valley of Castles canyon. Having taken the water, we lightly descend into the gorge and walk leisurely with stops (50 minutes) to the EcoPark village (2 km one way). The guide talks about the features of the Charyn Canyon. A short stop (15 minutes) near the Charyn River in the shade of trees, photography, then return to the cars (about 1 hour due to the uphill climb)
