One of the few modern hotels in Khiva, blending national character with familiar comfort. Suitable for both family holidays and business meetings — there's a conference room on site. A cosy inner courtyard creates a homely feel, and a children's pool area is a relief for parents travelling with kids. There is one notable downside: the hotel sits away from the old town, so getting to Itchan Kala requires a taxi. Breakfast, however, gets near-universal praise.
